Judith Marvin is a historian and co-owner of Foothill Resources, a historical consulting firm in Calaveras County. She served as Calaveras County Museum Director and Archivist for seven years and has conducted surveys and research for archaeological, historical, and architectural projects throughout California. She has produced reports for the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, California State Parks, Bureau of Land Management, Army Corps of Engineers, California Department of Transportation, and numerous county, city, and private projects. She lives in Murphys.

channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Calaveras Heritage Council
